Tvcc 2011 applicants- any status emails yet

Has anyone who applied to TVCC 2011 ADN program received an email or letter confirming your status yet?

I read on the website that this is a part of the process once you submit your application. I'm just wondering if they still send out status letters/emails.

beamom, I have a friend who got in last year with 9. She was on the alternate list, but she still got in. Plus, I believe they are taking more students this go round. :)

I am so nervous I flubbed something on my app. I should have no problem,but the what ifs are driving me nutty!

Is anyone else stalking their email HOPING it comes earlier than the 7th?

Will they notify us of our gpa calculation? Or who could we contact to determine the final number? I already have a bachelor's degree so I have oodles of hours. It means I will either have the bonus one or two points for gpa above 3.0= 10 or 11 points.

Found This article about the new room added in Athens and the extra slots they can now add becuase of the increased room. They expect 148 to graduate from the ADN program this May !! Just killing time.:rolleyes:

Okay this waiting is killing my nervous bad, has anyone heard if their close to sending out letters, last i spoke to them they had high hopes of having letters out by end of March!!

When I emailed the counselor he said April 7th.

I'm in Red Oak , far South!!

I've been checking my email daily and it's a little hard since my phone was stolen...I have to physically log into a laptop :(.

I'm thinking it will be April 7th for sure at this point since we are now at the end of March and Nothing.

The first person to get a response please please please POST. I'm hoping we all get in. I have low points and I'm a little worried since the new slots may be opened for the applicants in the East Texas (Athens) area??? I don't know but, I'm hoping this is our year !!!!

Any first time Applicants out there. This will be my first time, don't know how I will feel if I'm not accepted:confused: I guess I can't complaint, the process seems pretty fair!
