Tvcc 2011 applicants- any status emails yet

Has anyone who applied to TVCC 2011 ADN program received an email or letter confirming your status yet?

I read on the website that this is a part of the process once you submit your application. I'm just wondering if they still send out status letters/emails.

I received the email test this weekend. How many apps do you think they usually receive? This waiting is hard!

How many points does everyone have?

I received the email test ! I have no idea how many applications they normally receive. I haven't read any post throwing out those numbers.

I have 9 points with just my general ed courses and my GPA. I was going for (2) pts but my GPA dropped when I took Micro this year. If I dont get in this year I'll take the honors courses at tvcc and continue working on courses for my BSN.

I re-read the TVCC ADN page about selections and if I understand correctly, your current TVCC course load will be used as a tie breaker if neccessary.

I'm not sure if I read it correctly though. Anyway, I've taken a break so it would not help me. I'm just praying and hoping but, the wait is hard, I think about this at least 20 or more times a day.

yall Have received test letters and i havent, wow, ima call asap well if i calcucalted right i have 12 points i hope thats enough i applied at paris junior college and had an admission score of 100 and still did not get in ugh im so nervous...

KREDS it just might be the other way around...maybe they will email those candidates that don't get in and want to confirm our emails. I only have (9) points and I'm pretty sure of that. If you have your letter confirming the classes they are considering and then you add your GPA or TVCC classes you should have a pretty firm idea of what your point total is. Not to worry , if you have (12) pts you should be a shoe in. Still call and confirm they have all your correct contact information ! Just a couple more weeks of waiting .

Ive emailed the counselor and it was corrected, he told me not to worry so much, that people with 11 points or more will get accepted. I still cant relaz till i have the confirmation in my hand, ugh, this wait is driving me nuts lol...i feel alittle better now, but i just got to keep waiting.

Well depending on gpa cause i have repeated two courses i have either 12 or 11 points.

I think last year those who were accepted got an email and a letter. The wait is TORTURE!!!

I sent in my app way back in October and I've had a knot in my stomach ever since! I did get a test email that said THE emails will go out on April 7th, so I'll have waited a whole 6 months. I wish they only took your gpa from the prereqs instead of cumulative like Dallas county does. I've got an F in an algebra class that wrecked my gpa.

I only have nine as well. I recently met some new grads from TVCC who had both gotten in with only 9 points, so I still have some hope.

Yea u do he just assured 11 and up are a def go, i didnt ask him what was the lowest point they have gotten to so far u know...im sure you will get in
