Trying for Gwinnett Tech Fall 2013

So I am trying to get into gwinnett techs fall of 2013 class and i just wanted to start a forum for us to support each other and for info. I still have a couple pre reqs to take but im hoping to do well! Good luck everyone

I got a date and decision says accepted!!!! my current program changed to associate degree in nursing!

I'm told they have the official list compiled and letters/emails are going out soon. We should know by Tuesday at the latest.

My application summary on Banner web has also changed to "accepted" with today's date next to Program Director's Approval. WOO HOO! :nurse:

I see a date for that, but in my transcripts my major is still listed as HealthCare certificate. Im wondering if your major changed in your transcipt as well as the application status.

Look at the very top of your transcript right below "Current Program" you should see Nur-Nursing. But if you scroll past that you will see repetitions of Healthcare certificate.

I was able to see the change to Nursing under current program before banner web went out. Now it only gives an error message when I click on banner web. (Maybe a maintenance thing). I am so excited to see the changes in the records, hopefully this means we are in. But I will continue to hold my breath until I receive the letter. :nailbiting:

I checked my status of application this morning and now it says status: "Decision made" and under that it says "Please contact Admissions office" I emailed them; but so worried.....

Every time I get a notification on my phone or tablet telling me I have a new e-mail I get so excited! :D Then I check my e-mail account and discover that new e-mail is a solicitation. :no: Phooey. :( This is making me crazy. :nailbiting:

BTW -- do you think they'll be sending acceptances (not allowing for the possibility of rejection) to our student e-mail address or will it be a different one? I've used my gmail with the program coordinator, and I know the school also has my home e-mail. ACK! Now I need to stalk THREE e-mail accounts instead of just the one!:wacky:

They usually always send my things like the one about the mandatory meeting to my student email. But it may be whichevery one you put on the sign in sheet at that meeting.

Congrats to those who have been accepted!! Jhm0326, mine also says "decision made" and to "contact Admissions office". From what others are saying, unfortunately I don't think that is a good thing. Boo hoo! I hope I'm wrong.

Hey Guys!!!! Congrats and best wishes to all of you. If your status have changed to accepted and concentration to Nursing you are in without questions. We literally stalked banner last year LOL and those are the clues! Just enjoy your summer and worry about reading when school is about to start. Trust me, do not get worked up about reading ahead too early on. Enjoy your families for the summer because when school is in session sacrifices will have to be made. That's just my bit of advice. Congrats again!!!
