Check out The labor of Love and I Dream of Baby(you'll need to look them us as I don't remember the websites). When I was married to ex, we tried for a year to conceive, had one positive home test, miscarried a few days later. Those websites were a beacon of hope for me, knowing SO many others were going thru what I was. Best wishes to you. -Andrea

schedule an appointment with your doctor. there are a lot of factors involved, and though i am not a nurse yet i feel safe in saying that i don't think it is a good idea for anyone to order any drug they are not familiar with (and don't have a perscription for) and take it. There could be dangerous side effects.

Have you been working with your OB doc on this? Like smkoepke said, I would definitely not order anything off the internet. Schedule an appointment with your OB and see if they recommend testing and/or fertility drugs. Good luck and keep us posted!
i appreciate y'all. i will schedule a appt. with my DR. asap. it's just that my husband feel we should be more patient.

I too would agree that it is never safe to order anything off of the internet as you do not know what you are truely getting. There could be major problems with that too. I had my daughter 15 months after we got married and then had 3 miscarriages over the next 4-5 years for no know reason. Then, I did not get pregnant until 5 years later and carried my son to term. There was no rhyme or reason for all of my fertility/OB problems but when I gave up on ever having a second child, he came along. See a good OB doctor and have someone help you make informed decisions. Good luck to you and I pray you hear the pitter patter of little feet very soon!!

This is not something to try to medicate yourself for--lay off the herbs, too, in case that has seemed like a reasonable option.
I know how strong the feelings can be--I won't ever forget how my arms actually ached to hold my own child, or how shocked I was to find myself idly wondering, "I wonder what it would take for her to give that child to me," when I would see a young mother with a newborn.
This is too important to trust to anything but the very best science. If you post your location, maybe someone can give you some recommendations about a good clinic. My grandson exists because of the very good work of a fertility clinic. I'd gladly give you the name if I knew you were in that vicinity.
Good luck, hon!

I agree with the others.
Also, if you haven't read it you would probably like Taking Charge of Your Fertility: The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control, Pregnancy Achievement, and Reproductive Health (Revised Edition):

I think trying for a year at your age without medical intervention has been a good time frame, now I'd see what the doc has to say.
Best wishes!

My first grandbaby took a while to come, d-i-l w/endometriosis, eventually an exp. lap. She had tubes blocked with mucous, and cysts on both ovaries, as well. She was given clomid, became pregnant on the second AI attempt. The second baby as much easier, quit breastfeeding, had one period, and oops!
She would never have had a baby without seeing the doctor, and eventually the lap and hysterosalpingogram.
So go see your gyn doc, start from the beginning, and if he doesn't do the fertility testing, ask him for a referal. Don't take OTC meds at this point, as you don't know why you can't get pregnant.
Good luck!
