[color=#483d8b]i was inspired by jessiboopcna to start this thread, her energy is great!:)

[color=#483d8b]it has been a long, challenging path to get here; but all the hard work has paid off!!!:yeah:we all deserve a pat on the back and a little party weekend!:thankya: i look forward to the coming semesters and meeting my fellow nursing students. let's get things started!:w00t:~jeaneen

I understand on both the "honest" and busy parts. I'm super busy as well. Thanks for taking a minute to clarify. It's easy to read too much or too little into these post at times. So, my apologies, zbb13.

During summer break, I've decided to start researching a new hobby (hoping to squeeze it in). A fairly stress free next two years would be great. It may not happen, but a girl can dream!

Is the terminology class online or at Truman?

I also did not receive an automatic confirmation of my response to accept a spot in the program. I think it's fair to assume that the nursing department staff is swamped. But I have gotten almost immediate responses to email inquiries. I remember from the last info session that I attended that the best way to get through to the staff is via email, so don't bother calling (makes sense).

The last response I got from Debra Gurney was on 5/18: "Thank you for your note. You will be receiving a formal letter (packet) from the Truman College nursing office within the next few weeks. If you have questions prior to receiving your packet, please contact Nursing Director Tyra Ousley at Truman College. She will be able to assist you." Hope that helps everybody!

I look forward to meeting you all on our journey that will begin in earnest this fall!

No problem, chicagonurse2b. See you all in the Fall (and please post if you receive the "packet" so we'll know if we didn't--thanks).

I would also be interested in joining the study group too.

I'm interested in the group study as well. Also, anybody know when the orientation date is? I will be traveling from June 1-8 and I'm worried that it could be between those dates. Thankyou and congrats to all that made it to the program:yeah::yeah::yeah:

You are welcome to join us. I will let you know. We are still waiting for the letter and the orientation date. I will post to here once I hear something. Try to ask Nursing Dept at Truman about the Orientation, I assume they should have known by now before you travel.
