[color=#483d8b]it has been a long, challenging path to get here; but all the hard work has paid off!!!:yeah:we all deserve a pat on the back and a little party weekend!:thankya: i look forward to the coming semesters and meeting my fellow nursing students. let's get things started!:w00t:~jeaneen

looking forward to it !

Starting to get excited over here.

anyidea when they are mailing out letter?

No clue. No idea what happens to a.m. classes and weekend/p.m. classes either (can only do a.m.) Also, they started registration for courses a while ago--what happens to us? So many things we don't know! I tried to call Truman, but they are not picking up. I guess we will see as it unfolds. Someone seemed to think they extended the acceptance of the seat deadline--makes sense if some people haven't been notified yet!!

registration haven't started for first year students yet. we will be doing that during orientation.

Yes, I figure they have a hold on nursing registration until oritentation. Acceptance won't feel official until I get that letter in the mail. But putting this thread up, made me smile!:dncgbby: We could all use a a good laugh after this long week.

Oh has anyone had a chance to checkout the student handbook. I figured the info is mostly correct. It's an interesting read of things to come!

I've had almost a whole year to wait...while taking only one class...so I have read everything. It is very interesting. How many students did Truman end up accepting? What happened to the 100 reserved spots for students from the other two colleges that closed? Anyone have any idea?

I don't know how valid the info, but a couple of friends mentioned Truman accepted a lot of folks. That would be interesting if Daley only excepted 80 spots (I remember reading this in another thread). Though to be honest, there could be 80 or 800 at Truman, I just hope the program is together and ready to push us toward our degrees.

Can we register for our classes online at my CCC yet or does it block you from doing it? Seems like we will be doing lecture 2 times a week for two hours ( that doesn't seem that bad) and 1 six hour day of lab at the hospital. Also for the people who have gotten accepted, will you be going to school in the morning or evening. I'm just trying to figure out if these classes are going to get filled up quickly. I'm so excited! I've already started looking for a stethoscope : )

we will only be able to register during orientation. i will be taking morning classes

Hi classmates! I can't wait either! @desiree... I've started looking at stethoscopes already too :yelclap: The only one that I will be able to take is the class that starts at 6:00pm with Prof. Harmon. Which one do you guys plan on signing up for? Anyone hoping to get into the 6:00 class as well?
