A while ago I posted asking about the nursing program application process at Tri-C. I just wanted to update that I received acceptance into the Spring 2010 semester . The process was actually pretty fast. I am very excited. Hope to hear from others that will also start at Tri-C in the Spring.
NewStart2010:yeah:
It sure would be nice when they do commit an error to receive and apology however, the sheer number of students ******** at them for errors the student committed or something the student failed to understand has probably hardened them to that idea.
I know they're busy, and I try to be very polite when I call. They must be really stressed because some of the people I've talked with haven't been very helpful or polite. Fortunately, today I finally reached someone who was helpful and nice. Unfortunately because they lost my original screening receipt from August and I had to resend it a few weeks ago, I missed the cut off for October applications. It kind of sucks because it wasn't my fault, but I'm still hopeful that I'll get in Fall 2012.

It's probably better these days to scan your paperwork into a .pdf file and email it over to one of the office folks. When you fax things now it's more likely to get lost due to the volume of stuff they have coming in.
Scott, I did send PDFs both times via email. And I got return emails from staff confirming that they received it. So I don't know what else I could do except keep bugging them like I did.
Well if it's the background check that receipt means very little. It just confirms that you did have the background check done. They were probably missing the actual background check report that the company sends over to them. There is nothing you can do about that.
Has anyone had a clinical at Euclid Hospital or know anything about it? This is where my clinical will be starting in Spring and I have never heard anything about the hospital itself, good or bad.
Can't say that I know anyone who has had clinicals at Euclid. It's a CCF facility, I'm sure it's a fine place for clinicals. You might have better luck posting on the group site, but don't be surprised if nobody responds, either good or bad.

No you don't have to. You need to have the same style though. Other than maybe the lab coat I'm not sure if you are going to be able to find things cheaper anywhere else.
