Hello fellow nurses,:nurse:

I am REALLY leaning toward doing traveling nursing in 2009--probably around May or June. First time ever doing traveling nursing.:idea:

I was wondering if there is a site that has a listing of people that would like a travel buddy or rommate on their travel assignments???

Has anyone heard of such a thing??

I have met several people who travel together as "buddies". Check out deliphiaforms and the pantraveler site. Both can help you find someone to travel with.

Hi, i'm a 27 year old female, I've been an RN for 3 years now & I am interested in travel nursing. Are there any websites to look for travel buddies with similar interests? I am single, looking to travel to Florida or New York. I am easy-going, mellow, i love to eat, exercise, and I love to go out dancing : )

I haven't found any websites that had any travel buddies. I went on that panhandlers.org site but didn't find anything there. I am in Florida. But I want to travel to Hawaii this summer. I am also interested in the Maryland Virginia area. Colorado and California would be nice as well. But if anyone is interested hit me up by email.

Hello all,

I've also been looking for a travel buddy. I'm an independent 25 year old female from out of Michigan worked in an ICU (surgical/neuro/trauma) for 3 years. Travel nursing has been a dream of mine but to be honest, I'm a little nervous about taking the first step and it would help if I knew someone from the get go. I was going to start out in North Carolina b/c I know a friend out that way, but am up to travel anywhere in the U.S. East coast...west coast all sound fun to me.

I am laid back, outgoing. I love the outdoors, rollerblading, travelling (have even considered international nursing), love animals, meeting new people, and I get along with nearly everyone.

I am interested in traveling buddy too. I have two years of stepdown and one year of CVICU. Because of the economy and most travel postings I am looking to travel in the summer of 2010. Wanting to go to the East and West coast and possibly international. Love meeting people and willing to try anything once :D
