Travel buddies

Hello fellow nurses,

I am REALLY leaning toward doing traveling nursing in 2009--probably around May or June. First time ever doing traveling nursing.

I was wondering if there is a site that has a listing of people that would like a travel buddy or rommate on their travel assignments???

Has anyone heard of such a thing??

Hey, was just wondering if you found a travel buddy and/or if you are still interested in traveling if (you're not already). I'm looking at jumping into traveling nursing and also in the same boat as everyone else here... from Ohio, looking to spend some time maybe in DC, one of the Carolinas, maybe Texas, etc.

I prefer to start out in a state the gets lots of travelers but my plans are to go after I apply to grad school. I'm looking at going March or April 2011

I am in the process of trying to get my first travel assignment, and a travel buddy is such a good idea! Someone to split housing with so you can each save a portion of the stipend, someone to know in a new town, etc. My frined just started a travel assignment in Washington DC and I am looking there HOPING something comes up and I can start before the first of the year. This is quite a learning experience! There should be a travel buddy website specifically for this reason!

anyone looking for travel buddies? i met a great group of travelers and were looking to recruit more to join the team. were all in our 20s, some in early 30s. finishing up an assignment is los angeles, looking for the next move to san diego or manhattan! dont be shy write back. Indeed were a wild bunch who wants to see the world lol
