Torrance Memorial Medical Center New Graduate RN Residency March 2019

Published

Hi everyone! Just thought I’d start a new thread for the upcoming New Grad Program at Torrance Memorial. So if you haven’t already seen, they just updated their website and will be holding an Open House on Feb. 15th, 2019 from 1:00pm-5:00pm in the Hoffman Health Center. Good luck to everyone!

Anybody know how many people they’re looking for? Like per unit?

Does anyone know if we are being tested on anything else other than med math?

Anybody who applied to ICU got a schedule for interview? No call for me so far:(

Had a second interview for ED Tuesday the 18th I know they are only hiring 2 spots for that position, anyone get a call back for the job?

Does anybody know when HR will be calling back?

Hi everyone! I will be applying to Torrance Memorial's new grad program Spring 2020. Does anyone remember the dates of when the application opened up/when it was due? Just trying to plan ahead as much as possible, and there's nothing currently listed on their website. Thank you in advance! ?

Hello everyone!

I was just wondering if anyone knows how to upload their certifications, license, and degree to JOBVITE! I have never used it before!

I was wondering the same thing! Jobvite doesn't seem to give you an option to upload directly to your profile.

Can anyone describe what the open house is like? How many copies approx did you bring of your resume? Did you bring resume vs portfolio? Did you stay the entire time or left after speaking to hiring managers?

I’m sorry I didn’t see this earlier! I went and it’s a quick 5 minute interview with your unit of choice. They don’t take the time to look at your portfolios, but bring one anyway and definitely bring resumes! They will have you sign in, write down your RN license or NCLEX date and then rank your floors, then will call you up individually to go into another conference room for an interview!
