Hey Kevin! I'm a current National resident - I think I was on your interview panel. I'm trying to find the Facebook group you made to refer my friends who got accepted to it, but neither of these work. Can you make sure that the group is searchable? You can still set it so that people have to request to be added, but the name should still be searchable to the public. Thanks for doing this! I've found this to be the most helpful for new residents during these few months before the program officially starts in January.

I received an email from Dr. MacKinnon today stating that the program will start January 3rd!

A piece of advice that I've heard is to email them a thank you letter AND include responses to the questions you missed/didn't know the answers to. From my notes, I have that they interview around 60 people for up to 20 spots, and that upwards of 200 people apply. My stats: Overall GPA: 3.85 Science GPA: 3.92 2.5 years experience, primarily Neuro/Surgical ICU CCRN, SCRN Over 500 hours of volunteer experience (in and outside of the healthcare setting) Multiple unit/hospital committees Previous leadership experience as a resident advisor, nursing student preceptor I've applied to one other program thus far, interviewed, and am currently on the waitlist at that program. I do have an Assoc. in Chemistry and a Bach. in Health Science as well. Good luck to us all!! ?

? I've had one interview elsewhere and it was also 15 minutes! I think it just depends on the program. I've heard mixed things from different students/schools

Just received my interview invitation for CRNA start date January 2023! Does anyone have any recommendations for prepping for the interview? Emotional intelligence vs. clinical questions? Any help is appreciated ?

Someone in the CRNA School Prep Academy community said they received an email with interview slots around 5pm today. Anyone else hear back? I'm still waiting. I have in my notes that Dr. Martin said interview emails would be sent by the end of August, but we shall see!

Thought I'd start a thread for Loma Linda's CRNA DNP program that opens tomorrow, June 1st, 2022 for 2023 admission. Anyone know what to expect for the personal statement? The last program I applied to had very specific questions to answer. I'm not seeing anything on the webpage, but maybe it will give us more info once the app officially opens tomorrow?

Hi everyone! LLU's CRNA program app opens tomorrow (June 1st 2022) for 2023 admission. I was wondering if anyone is open to sharing how they worded their personal statement? Is there more direction provided once the actual application opens? I'm not seeing much information on the webpage (what questions to answer/topics to address, word count, etc.) TIA! ?
