Hi guys!

I am thinking about applying to Torrance Memorial Hospital. I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who can tell me how it is to be an employee there.

you might have better luck if you post this in the state the hospital is located and in your post list where the hospital is. There is a Torrance Hospital outside of Pittsburgh, PA that is a state psych facility but there is no memorial in the name so I doubt this is the one you want.

If you are talking about Torrance Memorial Hospital in Torrance, CA I use to work there. It was great! However, that was in the 1980's so I have no idea how it is like today.

Go online and apply. There are not that many jobs posted right now, but that seems to be the trend of most acute hospitals.

I worked there. Benefits are good, they offer paid retirement.. and a mandatory 2.5% rAISE EVERY 6 MONTHS..

Who knows if they still do though...Hoag used to have a yearly bonus, and they cancelled that and are making raises much more difficult to get....
