I would really like some advice. I took the NCLEX in California on Monday (12/15/14) and it's now Monday (12/22/14) and still no word on whether I passed or failed. I had 75 questions and felt fairly confident when I left the testing site. It's hard to feel like you definitely passed because the exam gives you some really strange questions with multiple answers that seem correct. It's also hard for me to believe that I did so terrible that the exam would shut off after only 75 questions. I tried the "Pearson Trick" multiple times (after day 1, day 2, day 3, and day 4) and I continue to get the good pop-up "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time." I tried calling the BRN and they said that the amount of time it takes to get results isn't a reflection of whether or not you passed the exam. They also said that I need to wait another 3 weeks (1 month since I took the exam) and to call them if I haven't received my results by then. I'm going absolutely crazy. It's imperative that I get my license results soon because I have a job offer in CA that requires licensure. Is anyone experiencing something similar? Please give me your input! Does the "Pearson Trick" actually work? Is there anything I can do? I also want to take this opportunity to express how unhappy I am with the California BRN. It took more than 3 months to get my ATT and now I have waited a week with no NCLEX results. Also, CA doesn't offer "quick results." Man this sucks! Advice please!!!!
Just an update...this is day 15 of waiting to get NCLEX results. Took NCLEX in CA on 12/15 and continue to get the good Pearson pop-up. Wish me luck.
If you're still getting the good pop up, you passed as you are well past the processing date for the second scoring. The holdup is likely administrative in nature. It can take a while for them to process the file. Some of my classmates had to wait a 3-4 weeks for their license. I hope your wait isn't much longer!
After almost 3 long weeks of waiting I finally found out today that I passed the NCLEX and i'm officially a Registered Nurse! I appreciate all the support and input I got from this message thread. I went through a little mini depression because I thought I had failed at 75 questions, and I also lost a job opportunity at Kaiser because my license wasn't posted in time (I have to wait until May now). All that is behind me now and I can finally get on with my life and start preparing for the future. I also want to say that the Pearson Vue good pop-up was accurate for me. For those of you out there who have been waiting for their NCLEX results for a long time I just want to say sit tight. If you got the good pop-up all you can do is wait...and check...and wait...and check. Once you see your name posted it's the best feeling in the world. Good luck to everyone and don't give up. I'll let you guys know if I get the amazing job (should find out next week). Thanks again for all your support.
I posted earlier in this post in December. I finally found out I passed NCLEX on Dec 29th and I took it Dec 4th. For those of you who may still be waiting or future NCLEX takers who may go through this same situation please email me [email protected] I was given information from a friend that allowed me to contact someone who helped locate my file and had my license posted soon after. This site helped me a lot to hang in there. The Pearson Vue trick also worked for me. However, once you find out you pass there is the stress of finding a job!! it never ends. But it is an amazing feeling to know I have accomplished this milestone for sure! I am so Happy! Stay positive and do things that relax you and keep your mind busy and surround yourself with positive energy. Gob Bless!

Just called the Dept of Consumer Affairs twice (talked to different people) to see if anyone could help me. Unfortunately, both guys told me I need to call the CA BRN :/ If anyone has a direct number or can let me know who I should call please let me know!
