Ok, this morning I finally took the NCLEX. It shut off after 95 questions, I think I did alright, but I have no idea if I passed or not.
I know for a fact (after looking it up when I got home) I got the last question right; does that mean anything? From what I understood about this test, after 75 questions, it keeps giving me questions until I meet, or drop below the pass/fail percentage.

Good luck!!! Don't try to analyze it, though, because you'll drive yourself crazy. You won't know until you get your results no matter how much you try to figure it out, so just try to distract yourself and not think about it (I know, I know, easier said than done!) until you get the envelope. But I had about the same amount of questions and I passed. I also worked with a great, great, great nurse who took the boards 3 times before she finally passed, so it doesn't mean you can't make it as a nurse if you don't, either. It just means you get nervous at taking a test that determines whether you can work in the career you've been preparing for for years.
It's an incredibly nerve-wracking thing. When I got my results in the mail, I had to make someone else open it, I was so nervous!

The way I understand it is --- the test keeps track of the difficulty of the questions you answer correct, the more difficult questions you get right is how you pass the test. That was explained here at this website caring4you.net
You can also find your results out now in most states in 2 - 3 days by either phone or computer.
Good luck

Getting the last question right or wrong has no bearing on the outcome, nor the number of questions that you get.
Each and every person that writes that exam gets 50% correct and 50% incorrect. They determine passing or not passing by the level of the majority of the correct questions. Nothing more than that.
As mentioned above, trying to analyze how you did will just drive you crazy, and not help you in the least bit.
If you wrote the exam for a state that offers Quick Results, then your results will be available on Pearson-Vue 48 hours after testing.
Best of luck to you.
