Hey I took the nclex yesterday May 7th at 8 am and the computer shut off at 75. I walked in hoping that I would do well enough to cut off at 75 but now that I think about it I have no way of gauging how well I did. If you go over 75 you at least know that you are close and in the running. I did kaplan q bank and my average was 69% I did hurst and scored where they tell you to and I also scored above what Hesi tells you to but I just don't know. I am also a paramedic and the National Registry was a CAT also so I am used to the format and I passed that in the minimum. I know its not a guarantee but I just feel like you would have to do pretty darn bad to fail in 75 questions and that you would be getting fairly easy questions at that point. I know that the majority of people who test pass on the first time but this wait is beyond nauseating.

Congrats on getting to this point! As we all know, the NCLEX is variable. Getting 75 can mean you passed or it can mean you failed. There is no sure fire-way to know if you passed other than waiting for your results. Just try to unwind and find something relaxing to do, maybe something you haven't gotten to do in a while with school and studying. Sending you best wishes! Hang tight!
Also, what state are you in?
Pennsylvania
Did you happen to purchase the quick results?

We all go through this, and I just had this conversation at work. "I felt sick", "I felt like an imposter", "I was depressed for two days", and "after the test I cried" were some common answers. Not a single person I know said "I knew I passed".
One more day, that's it. Fingers crossed you'll be saying those things to classmates who have to go through the waiting period after they take their NCLEX.
