I just finished taking NCLEX and feel like a failure...I feel like I got easy questions like medication administration, I Know I got them wrong because I blanked out!!! ...I only got 75 questions...I cried on the way home..I got some SATA and a bunch of infection control and some patient teaching...Any advice would be helpful...thanks...Did anyone get easy questions and pass?

WOW. ME AND YOU MUST OF HAD THE IDENTICAL TEST. I had the SAME three questions. Does scoliosis and nephrotic syndrome and an alzheimers man pushing a chair sound familiar to you?
I know I didnt pass, I got all those questions, one with alzheimers, few ICP questions. I hate the fact that i studied for 1 month everyday for 8 hrs doing about 5000 Questions and nothing. stops at 75 and boom, that damn blue screen. all the best to everyone
I just hate that I forgot how to take an apical pulse...that's why I think I failed because I missed two of those questions!!!
I TOTALLY feel you on this one Clara. I took my NCLEX today and I think we may have had the same question....And I was totally dumbfounded that I did not know the answer to this seemingly simple question! I also felt that I had a lot of basic nursing type questions and that I was totally not confident in my answers to those easy questions. I honestly felt that my test had a lot of content based questions and I only used ABC's for 2 questions (and one of them I actually went against the ABCs because airway just did not make sense with the given situation!) and I did not use Maslow at all! It really worries me! I had 75 questions, 25 SATA, 1 put in the correct order, NO med calculations, 2 delegation, and there was only 1 med that I had never heard of but the trade name totally gave its use away!! I actually left the test center feeling pretty good, but now I'm totally doubting myself! This wait is killing me!!

Oh, I know!!! Maslow and ABCs were so not helpful!!! I got a bunch of meds and I guessed on some...I knew my cardiac meds...but I didnt even knew those basic level questions and I know I got them wrong...argh..Kaplan and all those questions completely didnt help!!! I was okay but now I am freakin...How could I miss those easy questions???...I really hope I passed!!

I'm glad someone else agrees that ABC's and Maslow are overrated! I didn't take Kaplan but I don't think it would have helped me much. I looked up some of my easy questions and I got them wrong too. I'm going to stay positive though, and I'm sure we both passed. I'll keep you updated![/quote']THANKS!!!!! Let me know how you do...I am in California and it takes a month...The BRN website hasnt even updated since last week!! How could I get the easy ones wrong??!!! I dont know how to give an IM...I blanked out...CRAZY!!! I am so disappointed...Kaplan was a waste of money...If I do fail, I better get my money back...!!!!!!! ABCs and Maslow didnt work because there were two that were very unstable and both were airway!!! HA...Good luck and thanks for the thoughts...

Good luck on awaiting your results everyone. I test in the morning. I am just going to go over meds, infection control and close the book.
Hey if I have to re-test, that's just what I have to do, I am not going to allow this exam to be the obstacle in the start of my career. We have to get passed the brick wall, the sun shines over there hahah.

Clara,
I know you probably don't believe this, but I'm sure you passed!! Don't get yourself worked up over 2 questions because for all you know they could have been experimental questions! You've studied hard, you did great on Kaplan (esp qt 7) and you did everything you could do to prepare for this monster of a test. I bet you a million bucks that in a couple of days I'm going to see a posting on here from you that says "I PASSED!!" I just know it!
For now just try to stay as busy as you can to keep your mind off it. I'm looking forward to hearing the wonderful news that you passed!! :icon_hug:((hugs to you))
