Took the NCLEX annnnd....

I PASSED 75 AND OUT!!!

Next question is how long does it take to receive my actual license number? I'm hoping to get this ASAP and my military orders for Army nursing can't be processed until I get my official results. I'm in Tennessee so anyone that would know from this state would be a preferable answer, but all responses are welcome :)

Congratulations, I tested this morning as well and shut off at 75 questions and have the good PVT pop-up!!

Not from TN, but perhaps you could try to call your BON and see if there is anyway that you they can expedite being you have standing orders--can't hurt, right?!

Congratulations again!

Congrats to you both! :yeah:

YDRusell: Have seen some of your posts so I know you used Kaplan. I'm scheduled for NCLEX on 2/6. I took the Kaplan class beginning of January and am doing my Qbank questions - score mid 60's to low 70's. Occasionally, I will get a mid 50 which drives me nuts!! Diagnostic test, readiness test, & Qtrainers were all high 60's to mid 70's.

How do you think the NCLEX questions compared to Kaplan? What about the meds?

Thanks for any advice & congrats again. Can't wait for this to be over!

Thank you! I literally have so much extra peep in my step today--I feel like a nerd. HAHA! In comparison to Kaplan, I'd say you will be more than ready to answer NCLEX questions. Your scores are AWESOME, actually better than mine. I had a few high 50's on the first couple of Trainers.

Kaplan works in the sense that you get used to sitting and answering questions--I never really used decision tree much during any of the questions. Reading every rationale definitely helped today too! Meds are meds...you just are never going to know all of them, though I recognized a few and literally could see the lady from the on Demand in my head during the test.

I will say that during the exam, I didn't know how I was doing, but felt good when I got a SATA...then another...and another!

Good Luck, let us know how it goes!
