Took the NCLEX almost 7 weeks ago

Published

Hello everyone,

I took the NCLEX 7 weeks ago on Tuesday and I STILL have no idea whether or not I've passed or failed. most of my classmates found out in 2 days that they had passed the exam and I've been waiting in agony for almost 2 months. I found out that there was an issue with my degree so I contacted the school and got everything squared away but I'm still waiting. I finished the exam with 75 questions and with several SATA questions. On Breeze, it says my application is pending, I've tried calling and emailing the BRN here in California but to no avail. has anyone ever had to wait this long to find out their results? I'm trying so hard to stay sane but I'm losing my mind dealing with this uncertainty :(

Wow! That must be agony not knowing.

yes, I'm going nuts!

Yes, California

I waited 5 weeks. Call the BON.

I've tried to call multiple times and I can't get through to a live person, it always says "we're currently experiencing a high call volume and are unable to take your call at this time. Please try again later." and hangs up, I've emailed them also and nothing.

what number are you using to call them??

use this number 1(800) 838-6828

I've been using this number (916) 322-3350

I just called and spoke to someone, it'll take a few more weeks but the guy said it's a good sign that my application is still pending! I'm so relieved, thanks so much!!! you don't realize how much you helped me by giving me that number! :woot:

The person who found out in 2 days is probably because they applied for an interim permit. If you apply for an IP they do your background check BEFORE they send out your ok to test so once you pass they have nothing else to do and you get quick results. Normally without an IP they do your background check AFTER you pass. Try not to focus so much on the time, its has to be hard not to.

Wow - that's crazy - Have you tried the PV 'trick' that everyone has posted about? At this point I think I'd go out and buy a prepaid visa to try it.
