Hi, all my lovely nurses and nurses to be!
I took my NCLEX yesterday in California and finished with 75 questions. I would have not called it an easy test... at all.
I DID NOT get the good pop up on Pearson though, and that is making me freak out. I just don't see how I could have bombed the test SO BAD for it to have cut me off at 75? I have been a great student in school and know my stuff! Plus, the questions I was getting I would not consider them "easy" or "low level"
I am being patient, but I can't wrap my head around the principle: If you get 75 questions either you did extremeeeely horrible that the computer didn't think you'd pass even if it gave you more questions or you met the requirement to be a nurse within those 75 questions.
So not getting the good pop up on Pearson is making me think, how could I possibly have totally bombed this test; given all I know and how much I have studied and dedicated my time to nursing.
If it helps, the PearsonVue website is also having technical issues related to a storm in the country. But I would appreciate ANYBODY's advice/help regarding this. Has anyone ever not gotten the good pop up but still passed?

By the way, I also called the state board on Friday and spoke to a lady.
I told her that I don't see anything on my Breeze account that says "Pending or Open" or no license number.
Her exact words to me were, "Well what did you expect?"
I apologized and said that I was not very well informed on how results are processed or handled.
She said, "The system is not updated until we send out letters which takes 2-4 weeks."
She said that the system varies and sometimes the license # is posted before the letters go out, and sometimes it's posted after or during the time the mail actually delivers to your address.
I tried to ask her if she knew my results, and she said, "Oh I'm sorry dear I cannot give you that information but good luck on your results!"
I hope I'm not giving myself false hope
