Took my first TCN test today.....

I enrolled with The College Network LVN to BSN program (Indiana State University) back in May, and I just today took my first exam, not because I was not ready before, but I was SO NERVOUS!! LOL! But I passed with a B! Finally I feel like this is real, even though it is my first exam, I feel like I have made just a little progress and I can move onto the next course!

Anyone else doing TCN???

I haven't gotten up the nerve yet to take the first test. Which one did you do?

I think I'm kind of afraid to start, LVN -RN/BSN just like such a huge mountain to climb. I'm one of those people who can easily talk myself down...it will take forever, its too hard, you're too old etc etc.

Taking the first book with me today, time to look at page one.

So is it true that if you are enrolled in TCN that your tests are through Excelsior?

Hi, I am currently working through my first TCN course, Sociology. I hope that I do well on the exam, when its time. I am enrolled in the LPN to BSN through ISU, and I am thrilled with the opportunity that they offer. Alot of people are hard on TCN because it is a Publishing Company, but going through them makes me feel I will be ready to take the exams and their pass guarantee, makes me confident I will get through it. Cant wait til Im a BSN!!!!!!! Congrats to you...Have you taken any more since this post?

TCN is a publishing company that recruits students who are working on degrees from several different colleges. Indiana State University and Excelsior College are two of those schools.

I keep checking this forum for ISU students as well just to see how the program works once you actually get to the nursing classes. I don't think I have come across anyone yet.:uhoh21:
