hi good luck to u. that's great news. can i ask u i just started as a new rn student @ itt-tech & i'm calling places to look 4 work, & they're laughing when i tell them where i go to school. the school claims accredidation by the end of the program. but hospitals tell me let's see how u do by the end of the 1st semester. so i feel like i'm getting 2 different stories. what do u think?

Check the board of nursing in your state. If you don't see ITT tech listed, call them to make sure. If they recognize it as a legitimate program, then employers should.
Congrats! Just had my first day of nursing school today and could really use the encouragment! All you usually hear about is how hard it is and how you will have no life while in school. I've had to get off this website at times just to remain positive.
Glad to hear to made it! Awesome!!

I'm just here to say..you can do it!!!
I just finished 4 1/2 years of pre-reqs and nursing classes and have FINALLY graduated from RN school. The last semester was the worst, but I took each day as it came and it was finally done. I honestly did not now know until the final if I would pass or not. This is while working full time as a LPN with a family. It can be done.
We lost many along the way that honestly would have made great nurses. Many came back and others tried another route. So if for some reason you fail a class, try again.
I started on this forum back in 2004 nervous about my entrance exam for LPN school and have been here since. I have been offered alot of support not only directly, but indirectly from reading posts from others. I will continue to visit and hopefully offer advice/support.
Good luck to all of you.
