I love male nurses. So far I have found them fun to work with. They're no nonsense, no gossip, get the job done type of people. I also appreciate their natural upper body strength when moving a heavy pt or dealing with a combative pt. I'm usually more comfortable with my male coworkers whether they be CNAs or nurses.
In a nutshell: *thumbs up*

Hahaha! What?
Since female nurses are known to be demure ladies who only speak when spoken to, I'll handle this for them. They worshop male nurses as father figures that lead them.
What are you trying to ask?

I think they are men who went to school to become nurses. I think this because I learned (before nursing school!) that there are two different genders and one is male (the other is female). I also know that male nurses are required to go to nursing school and take the NCLEX to become a nurse, just like female nurses!

This question seems quite odd to me.
If I were to ask a male in any other field how they felt about females functioning as ...whatever...
Not quite right to ask.

I married a male nurse. I befriended him first at work, because we have personalities that are odd but frightfully compatible. However, I saw firsthand how well he treated people to whom he wasn't related (i.e., the residents), and I was truly impressed with his care.
Otherwise, many men nurses were great for me to work with, some were okay, and some were a royal pain to work with. Yup.

Much like the female nurses that you work with?

My Dad's a male nurse. One of my uncles is a male nurse. I have graduated and worked with many male nurses.
I like some and don't like some. I respect some a lot and some not so much. Same goes for the female nurses that I have worked and graduated with.
