I know right!? I'm pretty sure I'm happier than a little kid at Christmas time!

Yayy!! Congratulations!! :)

Congrats on all of your acceptances. I'm wondering what's the typical schedule for TNCC? Is it Monday - Friday...clinical days / lecture days? Just curious if you all have heard yet?

I'm not exactly sure how it is all going to work out yet. We have our orientation May 23rd and I'm sure we'll find out more specifics on that then.

Would anyone mind telling me their TEAS V score that got accepted? I'm thinking of applying but I don't want to get my hopes up and not be accepted due to a low score. I've taken the TEAS V twice.

Please post your TEAS V and GPA, it is very helpful for us 2015 hopefuls!

I attended the nursing info session at TNCC yesterday and the lady said people that got accepted into the program had TEAS scores 75% and up but you have to score above the 45th percentile and as far as GPA the higher the better but a 2.50 is required to apply. They only use your GPA from the nursing pre-req courses though.

Orientation for Fall acceptees is tomorrow!!! Who all is gonna be there?

I will definitely be there! Can't wait!! :-)

Heather and DomJo....I had to apply twice to TNCC before I got in. I know I did not get in the first time because of my TEAS score. Although it was over the 45th percentile, it could have been much higher. I am NOT a good test taker when it comes to those types of tests and I knew I would pay the price for that. The second time I took it I was in the 68th percentile. That was only a couple higher than the first. What saved me (I think) is my GPA which is 3.7. So, I would say that if you don't do as great as you like on the TEAS don't get discouraged, just keep your GPA high. It may take you twice like me to get but it will be worth it in the long run if nursing is what you really want to do. :-)
