Timeline for endorsing RN license to CA

I am interested to hear anyones experience in endorsing their license into CA. I used the online endorsement as well as the livescan fingerprinting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I am about to start this licensing by endorsement process. I will keep this forum updated on my progress. The biggest challenge has been getting my nursing school to do an education breakdown. I have a BSN from a Canadian university. We shall see if I meet the requirements for state licensure.

FINALLY! Just checked the Breeze website and my license number was posted. I thought I would have gotten an email or something...

Congratulations. When was the last time you checked Breeze? Could it have been up for a few days?

Did it take 6 weeks from you submitting the transcript/educational stuff? I checked with my school and the transcripts were resent May 28. I called today and my fingerprints cleared back on May 24.

I am waiting for my license also. My check was cashed on May 5th and my status has been pending for a couple of weeks. Is here a time of day or day of the week that Breeze updates?

The Breeze site never showed me if my app was pending or what was missing. I had to keep calling. I gave up contacting them June 11th because everytime I did, I got conflicting information. When I checked June 24th, the license number was there and from the records, it was shown as issued June 21st.

I hand delivered my endorsement application (and did the live scan) the first week of June and my status says, "Missing education history" still. I looked at the board's website this morning and saw that they had posted:

"We are currently conducting initial evaluations on applications for which payment was cashiered in May."

Initial?? This wait is ridiculous! I know I haven't been waiting as long as most of you yet but I'm going crazy being unemployed....does the $50 temp license I applied for ever get issued? Hope everyone gets their license fast! It only took 3 weeks for my licenses in both Colorado and North Carolina.

No, the temp license doesn't get issued. Save your money! Since apps are taking so long to get processed they're just issuing the full license.

Thanks! Now I'm wishing I never applied for it. Wish the board would tell people that before we waste our money.

Application received April 8, cashiered check April 29, they requested additional course information from me on May 15. Transcripts were received May 28. STILL WAITING :( I am seriously ready to lose my mind.
