Timeline for endorsing RN license to CA

U.S.A. California

I am interested to hear anyones experience in endorsing their license into CA. I used the online endorsement as well as the livescan fingerprinting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Happy for you, time2go!

To Angmirn about the "missing education history" status. Did you ever find an answer to your question? I'm in the same predicament and am curious. Thank you. Hope your license is underway.

africanbelle, when did you apply for your license?

My application was received 4/1/14. They cashiered my check in 4/22. I spoke to them yesterday using the 1-800 number and the rep said they haven't done the initial review on it so it is still just sitting there in a pile :(

I guess it's still 6 to 8 weeks away

My online profile shows "missing education history". Anyone have any idea how long it would take to get my temp/permanent license. My application has been received, livescan fingerprints have been cleared and my check was already cashed. Thanks.

I haven't called lately to ask. The first 3 times i called i wasn't able to talk to anyone, so i decided to be patient and see if they just haven't put everything in order yet. But probably this week or next i will try to call again vanec.

Appreciate the reponse. Will let you know if I get any additional info/tips. Thanks.

I just checked breeze. It no longer says i have any deficiencies! Whoohooo

That's awesome!! I'm excited for you angmirn. So in total, how many weeks did that take?

I mailed everything march 25. The check was cashed april 23. So maybe by may 23 i will get a license! :)

I wonder if a lot of people had issues with the education part? I had called the 1-800 number on Monday and was told they had everything they needed except there were (core) courses missing from my transcript. When I called back after verifying my transcript was complete, the new operator said it looked like they hadn't received my transcripts at all. I sent them in Feb and my completed app in March. I guess they didn't think to put 2 and 2 together, so I re-sent them. Another $7.25 towards getting this license :sniff: Hopefully this time all is well and I'll also have mine by the end of this month...

For those that applied for their license and also applied for a temporary license, how soon did you get the temporary license before the permanent one? Thanks.
