I am interested to hear anyones experience in endorsing their license into CA. I used the online endorsement as well as the livescan fingerprinting. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
Yes, I called them early this week too and they said they are waiting on my fingerprint results from the DOJ. I'm supposed to start my travel assignment in a week my recruiter said if my license is not out they will postpone week by week until it comes out. I made the foolish move to buy my air ticket last week though :-)
So I just checked my status and my permanent license was issued. Not sure exactly when they issued it because I stopped checking my status about two weeks ago. Decided that I won't be moving there until the summer. Here's my timeline:
-Livescan completed on 9/19/15
-Nursys verification completed in 9/20/15
-Application mailed out on 9/20/15
-Transcripts requested to be sent via standard Mail on 9/21/15
-Breeze account created on 9/21/15
-Application received by BRN on 9/24/15
-Check cashed on 10/13/15
-Complained to consumer affairs on 10/19/15 about the ineffectiveness of their system and the non issuance of many nurses temporary license
-Received email from consumer affairs on 10/20/15 stating to contact them if I had not received my temporary by 11/23/15
-Temporary issued on 11/3/15
-Permanent issued week of 12/7/15 (I'm assuming, could
have been sooner since I stopped checking)
So from time of processing payment to receiving license it was less than two months for me. It could be because I had everything completed, or my process could have been sped up because I complained right after my payment was processed. Either way, I'm glad it's over. Now my husband and I need to focus on saving as much money as possible between now and June to have a nice down payment to buy a house in CA this summer.

@ Jasel I read your post and bolted home from work at almost break neck speed to check my mail just to make sure I didn't have anything missing because my license status has been "pending" for 10 days. Nothing in the mail. I had been calling the CA BON for a week and going to voice mail :-( Finally this evening was able to speak to a live body and they said they are waiting on my fingerprint results from the DOJ to check back in a week which will be 4 weeks from Breeze date.
I would be POed too if I was you! Other forum members seem to have got positive results from filing complaints when their CA license application met unnecessary road blocks. I would try that - Might as well get something for your troubles!
