Tidewater Community College-hopefuls application July 2014

Published

This is a new tread for anyone applying July 15, 2014 for TCC Nursing program.

Hopefully you get a spot!!! are you coming on November 18?

Hopefully!! But Yes I have to, it's mandatory for us too.

Hey everyone! So myself and one of the girls in Cohort 3, (I am in Cohort 4) were wondering if anyone wanted to get lunch after the orientation meeting? It'd be nice to meet the people we'll be in nursing school with! And we are both doing the concurrent program and would love to talk to others doing that as well. We can meet outside the room after the meeting if you'd like to get lunch! I'm Sophie Gustafson and my friend is Ashley McNeese. At the very least, looking forward to meeting you all at the meeting!

Oh man I would love to but I'm still an alternate for now. Did you ever find out if you can still take first nursing course at odu?

After an additional 2 weeks of waiting for the committee to decide the speed bump of my domicile, I received my acceptance letter today for Cohort 3! Wow! Super excited and grateful for this upcoming journey.

Thank you eyvis91. I'm still rooting for you!!

I don't think it matters if you're an alternate or already assigned to a cohort. As Sophie mentioned, it would be nice to meet you all, and put faces to names. We'll be waiting for those of you who are interested. On another note, I've registered for one class at ODU for the spring and am waiting to see if I should consider taking another. 17 credits seems like a lot for the first semester!

Ok well i don't mind meeting up with you all just to recognize a few faces. Which cohort are you in? I really hope I get a call back because I wanted to do the concurrent enrollment as well!

I'm cohort 3 and Sophie is in cohort 4. We can help with questions regarding the application process and requirements to get in.

Thanks! But I have the requirement down packed. My questions is, would they let you start the program even if you've been accepted to the March cohort?
