Hi, I am creating a thread for those applying to Thomas Jefferson University's Fact 1 or 2 Program for pre fall 2024. Please feel free to share any concerns, stats, admission process, interview questions, etc!

Hi everyone just wanted to update you guys! I did get an acceptance to TJU and Drexel, still waiting to hear back on some other schools but I most likely will end up picking Jefferson. If anyone has any insight on Drexel's program vs TJU that would be amazing to hear about. I am leaning towards Jefferson and do have to put the deposit down soon and I do think it will be a better fit for me. I am also wondering if you guys are local to the Philly area or are from out of state? Please keep updating, I can't wait to meet all of you in person if I do end up going with Jefferson :)

Hi, congrats on picking TJU!! I am most likely going to submit my deposit for TJU soon. All of us definitely do need to connect,  Even if you guys are still not confirmed, please join we are happy to connect with with potential students.

I know many applications ask this to show dedication and support your application. Am I just missing where to submit it or do they not ask for it all? And if they don't ask for it do they not want to see it all or is there a way to show them?

Hi, I do recall submitting a resume and there being a place to do so. I can't see my portal anymore but I would have checked. If you don't see the option I would reach out to the counselor and send it to her so she may be able to add it to your application. I think you should definitely send it in if you can even if they don't ask for it. Contacting the counselor would be the best way to submit and I am sure they will add it to your file. I hope everything goes well, good luck!

There are two approved ways to create a special place for your cohort.

One: create a facebook page. This link may be posted.

Two: Premium members may create a "club" by clicking on the Breakroom link in the Community tab at the top of this page. Then click on "Create A New Club" in the green bar at the top of the page, and follow instructions.

References to other than these two avenues will be moved from view, to comply with the Terms of Service.

Congrats on your acceptances that is super exciting!! I am applying to those schools as well but I am in my final year of undergrad finishing up some of the prereqs. Did you have the 3/4 required sciences done when submitting your application? I am trying to see if I should submit my transcripts now without those finished and then update once they are completed or submitting my transcripts after this fall semester is over.

Hi, thank you so much! I am happy to hear you are applying. As long as 3 of the 4 required sciences are completed you are able to apply. I submitted when I completed 3 out of the four and they will give a rendered decision which is contingent based on completion of your last course and the grade you get. They may also want to see your last course grade before giving you a final decision so it depends on your other grades as well. If you do have three of the four science completed I would definitely go ahead and submit your application now, if everything else is ready to go with your application.

CONGRATS! I'm so happy for you, thats good you at least have options! I've frequented the Philly area when I was in undergrad because my school was about 30 min by train from there. I also had a friend who lived there I used to visit from time to time. However, I'm not a Philly native and I live out of state so its definitely gonna be a learning experience for me, too! I unfortunately do not know much about Drexel personally aside from what I've read online. I do know they do their terms in quarters, so its different compared to other schools. Definitely look on reddit, I've seen a few forums about Drex's nursing program there.

 

Congrats again, and I hope you make the best decision for you ?

Thank you so so much! Yeah, I am from out of state so it will be completely new to me. I am planning to live out there once school does start. Thank you again, I am excited to meet all of you!

Hi Everyone!

I had my group interview on 9/20/2023 for the Pre-Fall 2024 FACT-1 program and I received my acceptance on 9/21/2023!

TJU was my first choice and I placed my deposit this morning!

I'm so excited to start?
