I saw a link to this on another website, and while it would have been obvious to me that the whole thing's fake, it probably wouldn't be to a layperson and it certainly wasn't to the person who posted the link there.

If we had a transplant forum, that's where I would have placed this thread but this was the next best option.

This is absolutely SICK!!! The people/person who made this site should be prosecuted! It does become obvious this is not a real site for organ transplant when you read the child profiles. However after merely reading the first one, it makes me wonder if this is not a cover for something else...

Unitek1963, the CC you are thinking of is in West Palm Bch, not Palm Beach....2 different towns....

Obviously a sick joke. I don't even think they are trying to be a hoax. If you read the whole site, it is just ridiculous and sad that they think they're so funny. Under the FAQ section, they say they discourage kids being brought in by coyote? (a not-so-funny movie reference.) And all the sexual innuendo? Total sickos. These freaks had a great time creating this site, they think they are hilarious obviously.

The posters on the other website (it's a message board for fiber arts crafters) thought it was hilarious once it was revealed to be a hoax.

I didn't investigate it as deeply as some of you did.

It was like when I read "A Million Little Pieces" after the book was revealed to be a novel, not an autobiography. I would have figured out on the very first page that it wasn't a true story, and I do not have addiction issues. There is simply no substitute for life experience.

Just to see what would happen I filled in the registration form and submitted it. They said that you would be contacted with in 3 days but they asked for NO contact info on the form.

I also just called the number and it says that the due to a recent investigation by the us (basically that is what they said though not exact) they are now operating out of their Mexico office.

also found on the web site:

Truly disgusting.

OMG......that is funny, especially the bit from David in Palm Beach "and my daughter is going to community college here in town" Believe me there is no community college in Palm Beach...I grew up across the bridge in West Palm Beach !!

Really is a sad and sick site in my opinion....

It is sad to see that people actually take the time to make up such websites!!!!!!!!!!

I do hope that it's a hoax- but you never know--- there are very very sick people out there.
