Ok, here is my story. I go to a local CC. I turned in my Nursing App in Feb. Deadline was 4-30-12. We are not supposed to get letters until the end of June/ beginning of July. I was told yesterday that our school had approx. 450 applicants for 48 spots!! All I want is to be accepted and get that big fat envelope in the mail! I do have a 4.0 and I did decent on my TEAS exam....Any thoughts on how to stay busy and quit worrying so much? LOL....These last few weeks are killer :)
impressive a 4.0... now to my advise...get busy like take up zumba plus yoga and use your energy to keep your mind and mental health plus physical in shape. having said that, remember if it's meant to be no one can't take it away from you plus you sound like the type of person that is a go getter therefore, don't despair as i wish you the very best in all of your future endeavors and send you a hug  from across the miles....aloha~
CBLNurse2Be i havent been to the gym in 3 weeks neither! Having to wait to get that letter in the mail then realizing you have all this stuff to get done makes you forget about all that, but honestly i need to get back in the gym ive been just lazy and i feel like blah...but im sure once i get back in it ill feel like another person. Thanks for the advice GitanoRN !!
Between a slammed summer semester, my two little ones, keeping up with other duties, and getting ready for nursing school I barely have time to shower or eat, much less run! Lol. Maybe I can go in the morning though. I really need it!

Oh wow! Congratulations!!! I have a 4.0, and did OK on the TEASV with highest score in Math....Im betting maybe after reading this I have a fair shot! I know there are several hundred applicants, so who knows.... Now, I'm even more anxious to find out!
GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY!
