So, what are some things you'd say to your fellow students, if you could?
I'll start:
(1) Whining that the tests are too hard probably won't get them changed. NCLEX is tough, too.
(2) It's nursing school; it's supposed to be hard.
(3) You scare me.
Woop, well I was a little grouchy that day I see..I think I was just kind of fed up with in my own life how people talk about each other behind their backs and this post triggered a nerve after my 4 hour sleep and 10 hour work day. Sorry my B.
For what I wish to say.. I speak my mind a lot to others.. hey we need communication skills so might as well "practice" on our fellow nursing students.
No worries. We all have days when things get to us. For example, I started this thread after sitting through 5 hours of lecture that was constantly interrupted by bizarre commentary from certain classmates. Thus, this thread. :) Hope your weekend goes great. :)
I recently attended orientation and quickly became frustrated at the number of stupid questions my fellows asked. Different people asked the same questions, or asked questions that could be answered by peeking at the orientation booklet. They wasted so much time, even our adviser was getting annoyed. I don't know if this is common, but many of the repeating or obvious questions kept being asked by older students.
Here are some older threads on the same subject... some things just never change, unfortunately! But you're not alone, if that helps at all!
To the girl who was texting all through chemistry class....
do you ever just wanna yell..."Would you SHUT UP already???"
I have to go back and start on my BSN soon, and I am NOT looking forward to it. I do not suffer fools well... I barely got through my ADN program without killing someone every semester!
