It comes up every day, "Which State are you in?" "Do you live in a State that participates in Quick Results?"
Here's the list, courtesy of NCSBN, of all States that currently participate in Pearson Vue's Quick Results program. Approximately 48 hours after the candidate has completed the NCLEX, and for a fee of $7.95, Pearson Vue will release the status of "pass" or "fail" to the candidate.
These are called unofficial results because while they ARE the actual, accurate "pass/fail", only the individual State Boards of Nursing can issue a license. And passing the NCLEX is just one of the steps.
Why some States only participate with RN, or only with PN (and Georgia for some reason has both listed...why?)....who knows.
Anyway, here it is!

Georgia used to have two BoN (like CA has CABRN & CABVNPT) one for LPN and one for RN. About a year ago they merged. Hence why RN & PN are listed separately.
I believe WV also has separate BoN, PN participates, RN does not.
Generally VA posts results within 48 hours so VABoN does not participate.

Let's add clarification. It is 48 actual hours, not business hours. They post on weekends and holidays as well.

So are the quick results 48 hours from when you start your test or 48 hours after you finish?
Approximately post completion, plus or minus an hour or two.
Probably nothing adds more to the confusion than the websites' statement that it's 48 business hours. That gets people thinking it's six days!
Forty-eight consecutive hours....including weekends.....leap year.....Groundhog Day :)
