Okay, so I talked to the admissions lady from the RN program at my school. I am an alternate (#17) for my ADN program. 45 students were chosen, and 20 alternates. All chosen students and alternates have to take the TEAS test and pass with 67 or they lose their spot. Being #17, I haven't had much hope thus far that there was any way I was going to get in. HOWEVER, I just found out that 11 of the 45 students chosen have declined their spot in the program, before the TEAS test. That means, hope of all hopes, that if just 6 people don't reach the cut score, I will get in!!!! I know it's terrible to wish for, but I HAVE to get in this year...I just HAVE to. What do you guys think? Do you think I have a chance at all, or should I just give up hope now?????? 6 of the 60 or so people have to fail...is that realistic???
I just wanted to tell you congratulations! I just began reading your post from the beginning and as I read further and further I was so anxious for you! It made me so happy to see that you made it, congratulations.
Way to go!!! I'm so glad you made it in. :yeah:Gives the rest of us hope since they went so far down on the waiting list. I'm doing the happy dance for you. lol.
Keep us posted on how the program is. I'll be applying for next year!

OMG, I can't believe it.....I got the call this morning, and I'M IN!!!!! I start August 18th!!!!!!
You have no idea how unbelieveably excited, thrilled, and crazy happy I am right now!!!!!
