The waiting is unbearable!!!!!!

Holy crap the waiting is unbearable!!!! I'm dying here:bugeyes:!!!! Why do they take soooooo looooong?????? Acceptance letters go out next month (March) and I got a call yesterday from one of the nursing academic advisers who was reviewing my transcript, but I won't know anything till next month!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone hold me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:lol2:

I understand how you feel. Hang in there. You'll get in just have faith. Better yet, give them a call from time to time to let them know that you're VERY interested and eager to get in to their program hehe...

I am waiting for the letter in the mail :( I had my interview a couple weeks and I am soooooo anxious to know if I'm in or not!!!

I applied to an entry level masters program in CA and it's the only school I've applied to.

Is it appropriate to call the school and ask when they are sending out letters? I know they said sometime after the interviews, but didn't give us a rough estimate.

My school doesn't do essays, letter of recommendations, or interview. Just grades. Augh!

I actuallyprefer that. I hate writing essays and would rather put in the work for good grades than to mess around with getting letters of recommendations, interviews, ect. That's just me though

I agree with tfleuter. My grades are great but in terms of writing an essay, I have no idea what they are looking for! My essay question was very open ended and hard to answer. If I knew they were just looking for good grades, I'd be set!

You know, I prefer it as well, but it's pretty nerve wracking when you screwed up a semester, (2.5 one semester). I've since gotten my act together (3.2 as of last semester, and if all goes well, a 3.77 at the end of this semester). At the same time, there are people in the program who maybe booksmart, but lack the common sense to make a good nurse. Incidentally, I just heard that I should hear something definite by mid-March.

Exactly! The wait is unbearable!! Has anyone out there applied to UCF? I applied to the 2nd degree accelerated program and I'm not sure when I will hear back. Maybe the end of this month or March?

I applied to Northern Michigan University for their traditional BSN. The fast-track (accelerated) program might be eliminated though, so those who applied for that will be added to the traditional list...more competition.

Count me in on suspense list too!

I'm so scared I won't be accepted. At my age, going to school for a major career change is a big gamble.

I'm also scared I will be accepted! How are you all holding up? My school makes the decision for acceptance Mar 1, and there are all kinds of stories flying around about when our letters come out - mid-March, end of March, end of April.

I see lots of different smilies here, but I don't think I see one that exactly fits my state of mind.

I think that painting called "The Scream" would work nicely!

I have been told that we should be expecting a call this week to invite us for interviews. It is Wednesday and nothing yet!!!!!!!! I have not gotten a call. I am nervous I will not get one. UGH!! Two more days. Not sure what to even think.

Wow it seems like a lot of us will find out how good our summer is going to be depending on the news we get in the month of March!

Hang in there ya’ll, come March; we’ll all know our fate!
