Applied in March, and should find out within the next week or so. Since I'm not talking any classes this summer, I'm being optimistic and preparing as if I'm for sure starting in the fall. Clinical Calculations practice, Foundations of Nursing textbook reading (just hitting the high points!)...stuff like that. I'm scared if I don't stay sharp that by the fall I'll be a complete dunce and out of practice with studying...lol
I feel your pain! I have applied, but I am also taking an online condensed A&P 1 and 2 class through the school that I applied to which just started this week. That is keeping my mind off the fact that I won't find out if I make it in until NOVEMBER! It is good though, because I have time to get this last pre-req done, as well as all of the other little stuff like background check/drug test and CPR, which I still have to do as well. It also is giving me motivation to do my absolute best in this class this summer. I really want to pull an A since I have an A in all of the other pre-reqs that this school requires. I am hoping that if I can get a good grade in this class that is hosted by the school I am hoping to attend, that it will help my chances of being accepted. This particular school only accepts 30 people for each start date, so it is incredibly competitive...which is nerve racking! Anyway...BEST OF LUCK TO YOU ALL!!!!!

Hey guys! I've applied to two nursing schools in my area and I won't know till the end of June/beginning of July for both. This waiting period is horrible! Anyone want to share stories of how they distracted themselves or just offer support? I know God will get me in when it's my time, I just want it to be now! I'd love to talk with all of you waiting folks and the ones that have already gone through this!
