I used the study guide and though the questions were different I was still prepared for the information on the test! I scored in the 96 percentile and had lots of physics questions and had never taken a physics class before. I think if you study the book you should be fine

She did get off the waitlist and is going to start 3rd semester (Whoop Whoop GO Audrey) in the Fall!! I know this because I also go to school with her! I unfortunately wasn't successful in behavioral health though and just got readmitted today to retake 2nd semester Behavioral Health.

I need some good thoughts sent my way for a possible job I screened for last week. Its a student nurse registry position, which is basically a tech job but its for 2nd semester and up nursing students only and they try to guarantee you a job after graduation! I went last week for recruitment screening and hope to be called next week for a 2nd interview. They will offer the position on May 12th with the actual job starting June 9th. I want this position so bad!! I feel my screening went well and now I am just waiting for a 2nd interview!! Please send some good thoughts and prayers my way, I live in a very small town and new grad jobs are hard to find so this could be very beneficial to me and my family!!

I agree with everyone else definitely room temp after opened. Cold insulin burns much worse when it goes in than room temp does. I am a type 1 and always keep my insulin at room temp after opened!

I recently lost a VERY VERY good friend from our program due to some major health issues and class just isn't the same without them our group just isn't complete now. Its very hard to watch someone who works so hard get setback by something that just can't be helped.

I have used the Fluid and Electrolytes Made Incredibly Easy and I do like it but I also have a book Fluid and Electrolytes Demystified that I really like too. I am also just in second semester but they have helped me so far!!

We had bootcamp yesterday and today from 9-2 and classes start on Monday the 19th!! I am so excited and nervous at the same time. My poor brain is on information overload though with all that has been thrown at us the last 2 days but I am ready to begin this journey full force!!

I will not be attending MCC but I will be starting Hoptowns program and just wanted to wish you ladies luck!! Our classes begin on the 19th also so I am VERY excited!!

The study guide is pretty close to a the material on the exam just pay attention to the physics in the study guide as I had a lot of that on my exam. Study and study some more and you should be ok. I did really well scoring in the 94th percentile just by using the guide. Good luck!!

I work 2 12's on the weekend from 7a-7p in what is called a Baylor position which means I work 24 and get paid for 32. On Fridays though I pick up and extra shift from 11a-7p just for the full-time status. I love my 12's because of the Baylor pay!!

I used a site called freerice.com to help study for my vocab section...it's easy to follow and the words get harder the longer you study!!

My classes start one month from tomorrow!!! SO excited!!!

Congrats on your license!! Just shows that accountability and honesty can make a difference!!

I instantly thought of Jen Klein off of "The little couple" when I read your post. I know her difference and handicap isn't just pertaining to her hands but she is 3'2 and a very well respected NICU doctor at the Texas Children's Hospital and I would think if she can overcome all the obstacles that goes along with surpassing all that she has that you could also become a very respectable and educated RN. I think as long as you can demonstrate your skills and knowledge patients will not care if your hands are different.
