The waiting period

Hey guys! I've applied to two nursing schools in my area and I won't know till the end of June/beginning of July for both. This waiting period is horrible! Anyone want to share stories of how they distracted themselves or just offer support? I know God will get me in when it's my time, I just want it to be now! I'd love to talk with all of you waiting folks and the ones that have already gone through this!

Cigars, Scotch, and quality time with my buds behind a rifle--once my app dropped into the mailbox everything was out of my hands so I went and had some good times b/c getting worried/stressed would accomplish nothing. ;)

I emailed the admissions lady at the school that I thought I would be hearing from last to find out if she had a better idea of when decision letters would be going out. She said, "they are going out this week! :)" ahhhh I am so excited to find out! I really hope that I am getting in. Please pray!

Good luck!!! I applied in January and got my acceptance letter in April! It was rough waiting. Like someone else said, do not give up. This was my second time applying because the first time I was rejected. I was upset and cried, but then I made myself get over it, took a few more electives and reapplied.

I'm waiting too. I mailed my application in on May 17th, and the deadline was last Monday (June 10th)...and the wait is killing me! The school said it could take up to 6 weeks to know if I am accepted or not. The wait is horrible! lol Good luck to you though! :)
