So.. I turned in my application about 2 weeks ago and the deadline hasn't even lapsed yet..dang it I want to know if I got in already!! Anybody else on the same boat? I think we find out in May, right?
So.. I've been reading about other nursing prospects experiences and I'm getting a little nervous... I've heard of some applying with 38+ points and not getting in while others with around 30 got in..I applied with 37 points to the part time track and I really want to get in this fall semester.. Did anybody else apply to the part time track? Are you able to switch to the full time track once you're in??
Hi, ginasp88! I was told that the extended (part-time) track is more competitive because they have less seats available in that program. The lady in the Limited Entry Office can tell you what points were accepted in prior cohorts. She is super nice! Of course, that is not a guarantee of what points will be accepted in the upcoming cohort, but it's worth asking...just so you can have a general idea. It is all relative to how many points fellow applicants are submitting for your cohort. For example, if they have 24 seats available for F2015 extended track, and 24 qualifying applicants have more points than you...they will be offered those seats before you will. But, if only 12 qualifying applicants have more points than you...you would likely be offered a seat in the extended track. If prior cohorts had less qualifying applicants with more points than you then they may have accepted people with same or less points than you. Does that make sense?

Yeah we all knew 120 gave you 10 points, but for those of us that took 100B before 120 was required, we wanted to clarify if those points would be awarded if we substituted. It was very confusing because everyone seemed to be told something different. We got the answer "yes" but unfortunately this is not the case. 100B can still substitute, but no points.
