Hey Everyone!

Super excited to start this journey. I didn't see a topic for this program yet so I thought I would start one.

My Stats:

TEAS- 85.3%

Science GPA- 3.75

Overall GPA- 3.14

also, they create a facebook group for us that you'll get an invitation to join so don't worry about that. 

that is so cool! I got into uthealth for Summer and utmb for fall and I chose uthealth so I could finish the program quicker. I wonder if I could email the person that sent out utmb admissions and see if there's a slight chance I could transfer for Summer. utmb has always been my top school. what did you need for admission? I already did the vaccinations and everything for uth.

I would call admissions and ask. They had offered this to me as well but I chose/needed to remain in the fall semester. So they may still have some spots they are eagerly trying to fill for the Summer cohort. Call and give it a shot!

I emailed! I know with ut health there's a anatomy and physiology review exam the first day of patho. Do yall know if there is anything like that with UTMB? I feel like I know more about UT Health at this point so I am kinda just stuck. 

What have yall heard so far about UTMBs program

Hi!, I know this is uper random but do you mind sharing your stats like GPA and TEAS score. I have a high TEAS score but my GPA is below 3.5. Do you think I have a good shot of getting into UTMB?

Sure! Hopefully, it can help you. I actually applied for the Summer start and did not get in. I was really upset by that, but I did not give up. After retaking my TEAS (and increasing the overall score by 6% points), I reapplied for the Fall start, and was successful! Good luck and keep on going after your dreams.

Overall GPA- 3.15

Pre-Req GPA- 3.62

Science GPA- 3.86

TEAS 7 overall -88%

Math-100%

Science-94%

Hello! Has anyone heard back recently? I'm constantly checking my star portal and it's still saying my application status is complete. I called and they said by the end of June all letters should have been sent out!
