  1. I emailed! I know with ut health there's a anatomy and physiology review exam the first day of patho. Do yall know if there is anything like that with UTMB? I feel like I know more about UT Health at this point so I am kinda just stuck. What have yall heard so far about UTMBs program
  2. that is so cool! I got into uthealth for Summer and utmb for fall and I chose uthealth so I could finish the program quicker. I wonder if I could email the person that sent out utmb admissions and see if there's a slight chance I could transfer for Summer. utmb has always been my top school. what did you need for admission? I already did the vaccinations and everything for uth. congratulations!!
  3. I submitted the general app as well as the supplemental. After that they send you directions to access the STAAR portal. My application just shows complete now.
  4. hey, I made a facebook group so it is a little easier for us to communicate! This is the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1329523137896515/
  5. I had a 3.8 GPA and a 95 on the HESI
  6. I am not sure if it has anything to do with the date you applied. I applied on December 12th.
  7. I got notified via email first and then it updated in my portal about an hour later!!
  8. Hi! How did you calculate your science GPA? I have a 3.8 overall and a 87.7% on my TEAS.
  9. I think mine were sent automatically because I did not do anything but call every day to get an update.
  10. When did you submit your app? I would wait about a week after you submitted it to see if they received it. If they don't receive it and you are cutting close to the deadline, I would request to have it sent over. It was super frustrating for me as well because I called every day till they told me they received it, LOL. But it should be sent automatically if you test under UT Health school code.
  11. yes I did! it took about a week and a half for my scores to be updated in my portal. I did not have to send my score. They told me that as long as you take it under UT Health code it should be sent over automatically.
  12. when yall took your HESI, what sections were required? I was originally going to apply for the fall semester, but I want to avoid the bio and chem sections. Did yalls have a bio and chem section? As far as GPA, I have seen people get in with as low as a 3.2. They do look at applications holistically. Given you have patient care experience, I would not give up! Good luck!
