Hi! Thought it would be helpful to make a thread for students planning on applying for UBC's Nursing Program for 2025!

Hi folks,
That's a great question, but transparency regarding number of applicants usually is not released until after the incoming class is already here. That is to say, you really will not know until September 2025 or beyond (at least to my knowledge).
Best advice I can give is try to chill (I know it's difficult, I was very tense last year this time as well) and monitor your other options for admission as well. I promised myself I would say yes to the first nursing school that said yes to me at the time because I was worried competition for admission. I applied to UBCV, BCIT, and Langara. UBC said yes first due to admission cycle timing, and BCIT and Langara eventually said yes as well.
Keep your options open, and take a breath. This is just the beginning. 😄

No worries! If you have further questions, this forum is always here! As for cohort-wide communications, that will come at a later date. It is usually established within the cohort the prior Summer to the intake September. I am currently not a part of the orientation team, but I am confident they will start arranging for communications between incoming cohort members closer to the date. So for now, feel free to share here.
Hi everyone! That's super exciting. I was just wondering whether anyone knows if receiving a conditional offer requires only that we complete the CPR training, vaccinations, etc. or if they re-assess grades based on the final transcript as well? Has anyone heard of anyone having their offer revoked or re-evaluated due to grades? Thanks!!

From what I know we need to pass the remaining classes and then CPR etc comes later
