The University of British Columbia (UBC) BSN 2023 Entry

Hi everybody, I thought I'd create a thread for those who are applying to the UBC BSN program for the 2023 application cycle. Please feel free to drop any questions and share your background/experiences! ?

Did anyone get their application cancelled right out of the gate? See attached. Submitted my application yesterday with my full academic history, noting my completion of a bachelors degree from an accredited Canadian university. 

I've emailed them notifying them of the mistake but one would hope their admissions team wouldn't cancel applications without due care.

is anyone having trouble submitting their supplemental application? mine is saying that I've exceeded the word limit but when I check the word count im under the limit?

Confirm the character count, word limit is approximate.

Example:

3500 characters max; approximately 600 words including spaces

7 sections, 12 questions.

Have anyone done your casper? It is my second time to apply, but they changed exam format.... what the heck. There were only 12 typed-questions but not it is 9 typed question and 6 recording. I really messed up my recording one :((((. Although they have Snapshot part, why did they add it to the regular Casper exam

This is from the altus suite website( https://takealtus.com/faq/). I am not sure if UBC is participating in the early adopter program though.

Does anyone know if our Spring 2023 semester marks will be counted for our GPA. With acceptance letters coming in May and marks not being released until very close to then I am thinking not a chance?

If I'm remembering correctly from applying last year, they won't count your Spring marks as part of your GPA.
