Halloween is upon us. The time of the year where people do crazy things. I bet many of you have seen some wild things around your area. Please share the wildest craziest thing you have ever seen (at work or outside of work).

In nursing school when I was doing my ER rotation a woman came in with a light bulb somewhere it shouldn't have been. :eek:

We had a fairly young woman with a history of asthma who went to use her Netti-Pot. She didn't realize that her mother had just cleaned it out using vinegar. The vinegar going into her nasal passages was not pleasant and she started feeling SOB. Went to the ED and it turns out the vinegar did nothing harmful to her but she started having a severe panic attack which causes status asthmaticus and she ended up tubed and in the MICU!

Yikes! :facepalm:

I remember always seeing an uptick of patients in mental health crisis when I worked in the ER; including guess the alcohol level...
