Well I called the 900 number today to get my NCLEX reults and I PASSED!!!!!!!

Nurses today are lucky to be able to get the results of their board exams back so quickly. It took a couple of months before nurses got their results back when I graduated -- 1987. Imagine having to suffer for that long period of time not knowing whether you passed or failed. :o Ohhhhh...the wait was awful, but the results were like candy to a kid when they finally arrived in the mailbox. :)

Does anyone else remember when it took sooooooo long to get your results, and then being afraid to check the mail each day for fear "that letter" would show up telling you that you didn't pass? I sent my kids to the mailbox each day, and told them to tell me who the mail was from so I wouldn't faint outside while retrieving the mail if "that letter" came. :chuckle Thank God I passed the first time around! Whew! What a relief that was! Talk about celebrating! :D

ARGH!!!! Michigan doesn't have the 900 number....and the website is apparently delayed ( or so my other GN friend stated).....it is taking forever! I am starting to get freaked out....what if I *did* fail miserably with 75 questions???

this is cruel....

I know that before the CAT system ya'll had to wait virtual eons for results, but at least you aren't a freak like me who looks at the website 40 times per day!!!!! * smirk*
