- Some part, usually the thermometer, of the VS machine doesn't work!
The thermometers never worked on the VS machines. What is it about the thermometer?
I remember all of us waiting for the only one that worked. It would usually be something like this: "Well, she has it now. It's my turn after she's done. He asked for it before you did, so it's his turn after me, but you can have it after he's done with it."
My peeve on these machines is when you arrive on your shift and EVERY cord - BP tube, O2 sensor wire, AC Cord, and thermometer lead is twisted into a unworkable snarl.
So, I unscrew everything so I can use the damn thing. 10 minutes later after one other CNA has used it - complete snarl of wires. ***?
I hate when my clinical nursing instructor treats us like kindergarten students.
One instructor made sure that we always entered and exited whatever floor we were doing clinicals on as a group. We had to all leave the floor at the same time for break and lunch as well as return to the floor at the same time. Sometimes we ended up standing by the elevator wasting time for 20 minutes waiting as other students finished up what they were doing.

I thought it would be fun to start a thread dedicated to the things we hate that happen to us as students! Let's try not to focus on the annoying classmates we have but rather things like:
I HATE IT WHEN
I gotta think of some more and I'm sure I'll be adding to this list real soon!
