After my short summer break of 3 weeks... I feel down about having to return this Monday. ]=
I wish I didn't feel so, however I very much do.
I'm excited for ER & ICU but the time away from friends ... hours studying
... I am dreading.
Ugh sorry for being human!
I just need to get back in the groove and outta this funk!

I was the exact same way. We had our dosage calculations test our first day so even the three weeks off wasn't really off. And of course that doesn't include all the reading we were expected to have done. I've told my friends and family I'd see them in August during the ONE week we have between semesters. I just keep reminding myself that it is temporary and that it will end. And when I'm done, I'll be an RN!!! Good luck to you and keep your chin up!!
We too have a dosage calculation exam and a pharmacology exam. I fairly confident about the pharmacology but not the dosage calculations ... it was agreed that the new material they would test us on would be Heparin/Insulin unit type questions ... opposed to the old flow rate/drops/min questions ... but they didn't even upload heparin or insulin questions under practice questions ... yet they did upload titrations ... and we've never been taught titrations ... yes- I am a little scared but I am using YouTube ... Google ... and my books ... everything I can. So- we don't even know what will be on the exam ... I know my faculty might be busy- but how I do wish communication was a bit more clear! Oh well ... all I can do is gear up ... get ready... and do this.
YouTube is my friend! I used it a lot in math and now with dosage calculations! It really helps me a lot!
