The Mockery of Nursing

Just a bit ago the top three threads involved:

1.I have a DWI. Can I be a nurse?

2.I am stupid. Can I be a nurse?

3.If it takes me five times to pass NCLEX, Can I be nurse.

Not much left to add. Says it all.

My fomite eats nursing students for breakfast. Yum yum yum!

And then it comes here and posts nasty remarks.

I am going to bring this up next time someone posts here about nurses eating their young...In fact, let's all make a pact.

This thread has me so confused. Are we making a mockery of nursing, or are we making a mockery of people who are making a mockery of nursing? Or are we mocking poor defenseless fomites? And now people are talking about trollops, strumpets, spiders and mimes. Personally, I don't like trollps, strumpets, spiders and mimes, but I do feel sorry for the poor fomites who are being blamed for eating young nurses. I'll have you know I have had a pet fomite for several years, and he would never eat a young nurse. And he could never chew on a crusty old bat. All this talk about fomites is giving them a bad reputation. And I'm still confused. Am I the only one?
