Just a bit ago the top three threads involved:
1.I have a DWI. Can I be a nurse?
2.I am stupid. Can I be a nurse?
3.If it takes me five times to pass NCLEX, Can I be nurse.
Not much left to add. Says it all.
. A thread. Someone who took on a job, knowing one of the major drawbacks ahead of time, and knowing that there would be penalties if they quit. Anyone want to bet on the amount of time it takes before someone gets mad that I suggest the OP actually (shock upon shock) fulfill the obligations incurred.Okay, so I have this silly idea that people should do their jobs, do them well, ask questions when they don't know what the hades they're doing, and expect this weird thing called "personal responsibility."

that depends. are they a "really good nurse"? do they "have a calling?" are they kinder and more compassionate than their co-workers who are assumed to all be bullies because the original poster cries when she has to deal with them?
since when did "my co-workers disapprove of my terrible work ethic and my martyr spirit, and now do not want to bother with me" become, "omg i am bullied and i shall cry about it?!"/rant.
it's been three to five years now. i just don't understand why "i am unprofessional and cry whenever anyone doesn't give me the proper attention and greetings" translates to "my co-workers are all mean bullies who eat their young."

I personally just don't get this. Why would you take on a job with conditions you KNEW you didn't want to take responsibility for in the first place?
Or maybe I have TOO MUCH common sense.

i shall take note of this bullied individual, and from now on i will endeavor to spray butterflies and roses out of my neither regions whenever anyone walks by me.
