I'm watching this documentary. Great history, but it does seem like an ad. Has anyone watched this? Very interesting.

Worked there before. I found the staff not friendly to most coworkers and some were quite overly impressed with themselves.

I did enjoy the documentary and the history of the Mayo clinic, but I agree, it did feel more like a promotional video for them.

Any "documentary" about a hospital is 100% advertising and self-promotion. It's the same with pharmaceutical companies.

Can you send me a more detailed message about this? I'm looking at the residency program, and I'd like to know about your experience.

You will find with every single "elite" organization whether it is a hospital, sports team, military unit, car club, or Scrabble team...they are proud of their work and accomplishments...irregardless of actual merit.
The Mayo is great to have on your resume.
