The HRSA nursing scholarship is available now. I just submitted my application although I'm probably a long shot.
If you're interested in pursuing a career in healthcare, you may be eligible for a scholarship through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). HRSA offer scholarships to help pay for health professions' education.
All Scholarship awardees will provide a one-year service commitment for each year of scholarship support received.
The application cycle typically opens in late Winter or early Spring and closes in late Spring or early Summer, so be sure to check the website regularly for updates.
To be eligible for the HRSA Scholarship, you must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited program that leads to a degree in one of the following disciplines:
You must also be a U.S. citizen, a national, or permanent resident.
Have no federal judgment liens and service commitment.
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for scholarship through the HRSA's online application system.
If you have any questions about the program or the application process, the HRSA offers resources and support to help guide you through the process. Don't miss out on the opportunity to receive financial assistance while pursuing your dream of a career in healthcare and serving those in need.

No...for me it still gives the same list. Hope that doesn't mean they didn't get my packet! I sent it certified and checked yesterday to see if it had been delivered. It arrived like May 3 and someone signed for it!I had my academic evaluator mail the letter to me and then I included it in the packet. I also included the non-academic eval in my packet but she just did it at my house...theres no postmark on it! The school mailed in the verification directly...I am soooo worried that I will be denied based on their errors! (I posted earlier about how they put the wrong graduation date and the call center basically said there was nothing I could do to fix it).
Mines also gives the same list. I sent out my supplement material on May 5, so I'm sure they haven't received it yet.
Well that isn't good. I just printed my info in it and had a representative from school sign it and put his email address. I did that because it was in the format of filling in the blanks. How do they know the representative didn't feel it out?? Oh well, if I don't get it because of that then oh well. They should have more specific instructions on their website then.
I think you should be okay because the registrar person at my school also fillled in the blank on the computer and she printed it and signed it.

Hey Britt7, I also put the wrong graduation date, I was off by like 2 months. I called the call center and the rep that I spoke with said it will be okay because its expected graduation date and it is only off by two months. I think you should be okay as long as its not off by a long shot.
I wouldn't worry about who's handwriting the good standing form was because in the end it had to be embossed or stamped with the school's seal. theres no faking that! I can't believe how long we have to wait to find out anything, it makes me wonder how to make some big choices I have to make right now. ech!

It was off by about 18 months though! It is going to be 12/2011 and they put 05/2013! I'm guessing they had just filled one out for a traditional program student and just forgot to change that part to my programs end date.
:-/

hopefully they have enough awards for all applicants!!!! that would be the absolute best :)
Hey I too applied for the scholarship! I made a mistake on my supplemental form I just realized. I forgot to get them to seal the good standing report, but i did attach my acceptance letter from the college in with it so hopefully that is good enough. When I wrote my essays I didnt realize i needed to copy and paste I just printed it out from word and sent it. Another thing I realized in my good standing report the lady put graduation date in as 2013 but I put 2012 in my online application because I wasn't sure if I would have to do 2 or 3 more years since I am a transfer student. Im freaking out now, what if I dont get it because I forgot this little things! Maybe they will make phone calls to the people who made little mistakes just to verify everything. I am also in the 1st perference group.

True. And going through last years thread, I saw at least one person who received the award was in an accelerated program. I guess I am just worried that they would give preference to in-state non-second degree programs. I am a huge worrier though! This is nearly as bad as the wait for the acceptance letter! Gah!
